You can purchase new tip sections about 15 bucks. Grizzly jig has them. Or just cut that guide out.

Unfortunately I've broken my share of rod tips, but I always keep the broken tip section for one reason...spare ceramic inserts. My problem is that I pop the very tip insert out sometimes jigging cypress trees (getting hung up and running the pole tip down to the snag to get it undone).

All this to say that you can (very carefully) replace inserts in a rod guide. You can use a die grinder to gently score the outer ring on the broken tip so that it can be broken free and not damage the insert in the process. You'll want to break the ceramic tip with pliers on the "good" pole and not damage the outer metal ring. Apply a little superglue and press the "new" insert firmly into place. Some even seem to have a small groove in the insert outer diameter so that it will seem to snap into place.

It's not always pretty when I get done and it's definitely not as strong as it was originally, but it will get you back fishing cheap.

BnM uses a lot of common sizes on different rods and also in different guides on the same pole. Let me know exactly which 12 ft BnM pole you have and I may can send you an insert that fits.

Lots of small tackle shops will replace the guides on a rod for you a very low fee. I have one in my area that wil do one for $6. If there is anyone in your area that builds rods they could also do this for you.
