5 more hours till fish off 2012 begins does anyone go out and chase the first fish of the new year I think ima get it this year in my family but it will prob be a bass since my pond dont have no crappie in it yet

Might go out and try some today. It's supposed to be mid-40s today (unusually warm for northern Illinois in January) but probably pretty windy. Good luck if you go out.
