Gearing Up

New here guys and I need to get some tackle. Bass pro has some Crappie Max combos for $39 with the little baitcaster. Any feedback on these?

Seriously, though ... what methods are you planning on using with this "new tackle" ? Bank or boat fishing ? If boat fishing ... how is it set up ? How & where you plan on using them will help us narrow down the "types" of rods/reels you would need ... what brand/length/style/cost depends on your preferences.

I guess jigging or trolling mostly, I do have a boat, its not set up just some rod holders. I do have some spinning rods I can use too.
