    Default My E-Z checker holder

I was bad about just tossing down my E-Z Checker when I got done checking a crappie and in turn would step on them and break them or they would get slimy and would slip out of my hand and into the lake so I made my own a couple of years ago. Here are some pictures of it.

I made it open at the bottom so I could make sure that the fishes mouth was closed and touching the bottom. That will cost you $125 in TN if it's not because it will come up short. You probably don't need to ask me how I know this.

A another picture of the bottom.

I put this piece in so that it can be pulled out easier with gloves on or slippery fingers.

And a picture of it in the "case".

I put the carpet on the inside so that it would fit tight and not easily come out so that I can just hold the whole thing over the boat and the short fish will come out. I had a heck of a time getting the carpet wrapped around all the bends but, I managed some how.

Those easy checkers sure get slimey in my boat. Guess the carpet holder washes easy enough. It sure looks professional.

Run on down to the patent office. You may have a million dollar idea there!

That is a cool design. I can tell you though. Even when you think the fish's mouth is closed and is touching the bottom. The bottom is rounded and thats not good. Don't ask me how I know..lol. Nothing but the Golden Rule Bump Board for me. Our local CO claims he write's a $2000 worth of tickets every year. From people using the E-Z checker.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

I still have a rule board in the boat for the "close ones".
