The lake is up 2 feet, and hopefully the wind won't be as bad as last year. I heading there in two weeks for a few days. Good luck - tell us how you did.

Well back from camp!Wife and I drove from our camp 10 miles to Huxley Bay and launched around 7:30am.Fished edge of river along with about 30 other boats.Bite was lite and slow so we loaded up around 1:00pm with the 5 perch we kept and went back to camp cleaned the fish ,built campfire ,fried up our catch, played cards and brought in the new year!Everyone we talked to that were out there fishing said since the 4 or 5 inch rain last week they slowed up.Thats alright we had a blast and ate fresh perch for our last meal of 2011.
Skip you are correct any time someone is fishing they are doing well!!!LOL

    Thanks for all your comments!!!!!
