Brad Whitehead hung me in the elbow with one of his famous crankbaits. Just pulled it out and kept on fishing.
Just curious....
When I was a kid,I got a rusty fish hook stuck in my finger on my left hand.It caused a red streak to go up my arm.Yes.Blood poisoning.I was rushed an hour to a hospital where they shot me up with 4 doses of Penicillan. The doc's needles were more painful than the hook!
I'll have to say I'm grateful I've never got a hook stuck anywhere else!

Last year at Truman Lake. Watched a crappie that was pushing 3lbs. spit a jig back at my wife before i could net it. I'm still having trouble sleeping over it hehe...izzy
A friend sunk a small Rapala in my back, and did not know the line broke. After I showed him, everyone said Hospital...I said Case knife.I made him cut it out, and we kept fishin.I still use that Rapala.

Two summers ago i got a ratltrap hung and tried to pull it out and it did and flew straight into my pupil and hung up.three hours later i got to the hospital hook still hanging in my eye.my eye was just a flap of skin now and pulling out of socket from weight and no pain medicine yet.blind for three weeks in that eye.i lucked up and the two top retina specialists in the world took me and rebuilt my eye.out of work three months.i can see now but still blurry
I'd have to say that this one wins.....I can't even imagine.Originally Posted by TOMMY4UA

I had to tell my football coach and thought it was a free fishing pass but he made me waterboy
Well for our seniour trip we went to St. Clair and I had a 40" + throw a Musky killer and drilled him just over the eye brow 5 hours & 8 stitches later we were back on the lake.

For me it was last October nightfishing. I was pulling up an anchor about 3am. Something hit me in my chest. next thing I see is an hour after sunrise. I had drifted until the anchor hit bottom where I had stopped when I fell in the boat. Heart attack is what they told me. Found out plenty of bad news about my ticker over the next 2 weeks. Feel great now most days but if I over do it I suffer. I never fish alone without a life jacket on now. I am lucky I fell back into the boat.
