First FCC tournament of 2012 on 20 tournament schedule will be
held Saturday, January 7th,

So there is no hard feelings, FCC schedule
was put out prior to Holloween to try and avoid
in Slabfest dates in area........such as what happened
in 2011.......

Harold, Slabfests have not and probably never will be scheduled around your tounament schedule. Don't feel bad that the date conflicts with the slabfest. We do our thing and you guys do yours. If we tried to accomodate everything that comes up we would never have one. Good luck in the tournament.

Thanks Mike,

Their might be a possibility that someone might want to attend both...but we do
try to stay away from Holidays, possible conflicting events, extreme hot weather, etc. Have expanded the
schedule from 10 a year basically held around the Leesburg area to 20 to include
other parts of the state of Florida in order to increase the competition level and cut
down on the amount of travel by competitors. We are also pushing to get the state
of Florida more reconsized as a Crappie (spec)as well as Bass state, thereby, bringing
some of the National Championships in. Thanks to CdC plus a couple other web sites,
including a few newspapers we have increased the club size signicifically.

There are several people on the Florida CdC forum that have helped promote FCC,
directly as well as indirectly and we appreciate the help and in turn anyway we can
assist Slabfest group please let us know openly or on pm.
