Diversion channel

WIFE AND I DECIDED TO TRY THE DIVERSION CHANNEL JUST SOUTH OF CAPE YESTERDAY. GOT THERE ABOUT 10:30 FISHED TILL ABOUT 2:30 JUST BEFORE IT STARTED TO RAIN. CAUGHT 8 NICE CRAPPIE 1/2 -3/4 LBS. AND 2 SMALLER ONES, BUT THEY WOULD HOLD FLOUR. RIVER MUST HAVE BEEN FALLING CAUSE THERE WAS ALOT OF CURRENT. COULDN'T CATCH ANYTHING IN THE CURRENT BUT FOUND SOME IN AN EDDY IN A COUPLE OF TREES. BEST LUCK WAS WITH BG ELECTRIC CHICKEN AND LAKE FORK BABY SHAD CHART. TIPPED WITH BERKLEY MAGGOTS. SEVERAL BOATS AT THE LANDING THEY MUST HAVE WENT TOWARDS THE RIVER. ONLY SAW TWO BOATS WEST OF INTERSTATE AND THEY WERE SQURRIEL HUNTING. SAW THEM SHOOT 2 SAID THEY HAD SEVERAL. WATER TEMP WAS ABOUT THE SAME AS THE AIR TEMP 40. NOT A BAD DAY.

i belive that most them boats are headed west. the last coulpe of times i have went east and not seen a boat.

Thought they might have been duck hunters on the river. Went al the way to the hwy bridge no one fishing.

Good deal, heard they were bitin Saturday, itll be in this weeks paper, i went trout fishin instead, maybe next weekend. Y'all have the big boat in the ditch?
