    Default What's a Vizsla

Thought this was funny, I stole it from Green Chickens facebook page.

Reminded me of my Vizsla, Duke, pictured below. He passed about 10 years ago. We put the hunters orange scarf on his collar when we let him outside back then during the deer hunting season.

Absolutely wonderful dogs. Very smart and people orientated. I called him a monkey, just without without opposing thumbs.

Amazing what people do with photo editor. Duke looks like a sensitive, loveable, and caring dog.

Just the fact that you would have to put the orange scarf on him makes me cringe. It is sad that we must go to these lengths because of those that just want to shoot anything that moves and resembles a deer/coyote/coon/rabbit. etc!

They are great dogs. I had 3 of them when I was still able to go bird hunting. Awesome dogs.

Awesome dogs. We put the scarf on more for our own sanity. A Vizsla's color is close what some deer might look like.
