    Default Two unrelated questions

    1) Has anyone used Power Pro Depth Hunter line for trolling or spider rigging? It seems it may be helpful in determining depth and amount of line out for trolling.

    2) On the ponyhead jigs which can't be sold. If I buy the standard doit mold made for the 570-575 hooks, do the sickle hooks fit without modifying the mold?

Sickle hooks fit unless you get too big. I had to do a little work on mine for 1/0 Sickles, but smaller worked fine. I have Okuma 1500C depth counter reels. About $28.00 each.

I think Hunter answered your question, so I'm going to hijack ... :o

What is the 'real' story behind the Doit pony's becoming road runners and now 'can't be sold'?
    Thanks

I think the power pro. line is overpriced.

This Power Pro Depth Hunter metered Braid line is new and I was wondering what is different from the standard Power Pro Spectra aside from the color marking line length. It would make some things easier and some people here use braid for spider rigging.

Right, I knew that. But I heard that the Doit Pony came first and now they can't be sold as he mentioned.
That's what I heard anyway, and I was wondering if anyone else knew the story. Just curious. Thanks!
