Need a little help please

I have been trying to get more into crappie fishing but I am having trouble. I have done ok in other areas catching crappie but I am having a problem catching anything below the dam at truman. I was just wondering what kind of set up you guys and gals are using? I will be fishing from the bank. Don't want to be the only guy out there not catching anything like the last couple of years. Any help would be great. Also anybody think I would do any good below the dam tomorrow?

Never know till you try and good luck. I have done pretty well at docks on back water side of dam straight lining for crappie. Not lately i havent fished that since back in summer time.

I like bank fishing in the cove that the boat ramp is in using a slip float and jig head with minnow adjust float till get bit. Maybe 8 to 10 ft. to start. First light and evening right before sundown has been best.
