What do u feed ur leftover minnows between fishin days? I have a bait tank next 2 my house that I want 2 keep full thru the summer. What should I feed these minnows?

they will eat fish flake food. You get that at Walmart in the pet dept next to the fish tanks. Other stores carry this too. Petsmart has it as well.

I found that the minnows don't really need a lot of food. The more you feed them the more waste they will produce and that leads to increased ammonia in the water. Ammonia in the water will kill the minnows pretty quickly if the concentration of ammonia gets too high.

We feed ours goldfish flakes.They love it.
