Thats why you have a Ruler or some other measuring device in the pictures......Increments don't shrink? Do they?

many contests going off without a hitch all over the net. like dog said simple pic with ruler and control item to copy & print out at the start date. most of the contests i have seen on here couldnt have a clear winner, it was up to a few judges. like said the ruler dont shrink. lol

Yes, I've tried it, and sure I can try it again. The problem is rules were not followed, and we ended up with no correct entries. Even in the picture above that river scum posted, the fishes mouth is not closed all the way. It was always a little something that was wrong, and the IN boys did not think they could win over the MS guys so they did not participate. Feelings were hurt because photo's were disqualified, so on and so forth. I'd rather just give away prizes randomly, or semi-randomly. Best picture contest, and the like.

But, having said that, I'm sure some time next year I'll try a size contest like you describe again. And hey, what about some of you long time members running a contest. I don't think a newbie would be trusted to do so, but long standing members could help out and run something like this for me/the site. I can provide prizes. Might be something we can try as well.
