Amen to that.Glad to hear you got in them today,I just love winter fishing.
Long time, no report so ,,,launched at Bucksaw around 10 this morning. Three other rigs at the ramp, looked for Bob and Jack said they were going today but seemed they bailed for greener pastures in reading posts this evening. Lucky for me the fish cooperated as the last poll had me as only the 5,417th best jig fisherman on Truman Lake and would say I'm overrated at that. Had approx 25 at 10 " and up, best two 1.41 and 1.34, all C&R today. Caught some above and some below bucksaw, mainly bluffs and creek mouths, 10-16 down over 17-35. Water temp 42-44, jigs, blue/white, purple/chart don't think color mattered much but presentation and location did. Last 5 outings I've made have been 5 different parts of the lake using 5 different patterns and all resulted in good trips. November and December is a great time to be alive if you like to crappie fish around these parts.

May all your live wells be full.Dave
Nice job and great report.....I have a question. I know the bluffs have trees all along them, and I'm wondering if you just jump around from tree to tree....or do you look for a break and fish the break and trees next to the break, or is there some feature you might look for along a bluff that attracts fish?
thanks!
After catching them 1.41 and 1.34 fish you should move right on up the charts Kaz. Sounds like a pretty good trip on a great December day. Hope today goes as well for us.
nice report, but you still have to move up 2 places to pass me, well on a good day anyway... Love the truman
Good job Kaz

Good job Kaz.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
