I've never tried either, there is so many shad that its like they are swiming in shad soup. Didnt think that they would be hungry
Fished it for years now for bass with good results for a small, pressured lake. Never done any drifting for specks there.

How about Lake Gibson? I live in Zephyrhills, I'm trying to find a decent place in Lakeland to fish at night. Tired of driving all the way to Winter Haven, and Lake Wales. Too bad they don't have a night pass for Tenoroc.

How about lake Crago, its a deep clear pit that is connected to Parker. What is it with Lakeland? The lakes are green with about 4 inches of visibility.
Gonna hit Gibson tonight. Canal l there at the ramp leads to Crago too. I fished Crago from Parker several years ago. I caught some decent bass in the canal, but not much of anything in the two lakes. Parker was shallow and green with huge schools of nile perch. Water quality in Crago was a little better.
