My first four years in the Air Force I had the pleasure of being stationed on the island of Oahu, HI. I got to go the Arizona memorial with my squadron and it was a humbling experience to say the least. I am truly appreciative to all my brothers in arms who have ever served and especially to those who gave all.

I was there 10 years ago for out 25th wedding anniversary. Was very fortunate to meet and talk to 2 sailors stationed there that day. Took the trip out to the Arizona, very emotional. Also, visited the USS Missouri and got a flag that flew over the ship the day we visited for my son's Eagle ceremony. Thanks to all that serve.

Been there twice while doing my summer duty in the Navy reserve. (four years active, six reserve). Very somber to look down at the deck of the AZ and think about those resting there still. What a day of hell that was. God speed.

I was amazed it took the today show until the second half hour to mention pearl harbor.......sad state of affairs this country and our media is in!!!!RIP to those that sacrificed it all that infamous day and a big thank you to the few that survive on this day.
