    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    To late now but I would say cut brush,,,, all you can stand. I actually will take my rods out of the boat which forces me to stick to my plan when I go to sink brush. If I have a rod I will sink a few piles then talk myself into checking a spot or two and that ends the brush sinking.
