    Default installing terrova questions


    hey guys. i recently purchased a used minn kota terrova w ipilot. n i didnt get a instruction manual. i was wondering if any1 had any tips for installation. its the 80lb 24v. iv never hooked up a 24v before. and also there is a wire coming out of the head with a small plug on it. and cant figure out what it plugs into. any info would be appreciated. i tryd looking online for a installation book. but the only 1 i could find is how to install the ipilot into the head. thanks guys

    Go to the electronics/trolling motor section and pose this question. Them folks live for questions like this, and they've done it a bunch.

    Could be for a transducer built into the motor, or wire harness for foot pedal.

    Go to the MK website. You should be able to pull up the manual for that motor. Plug should be for the Universal Transducer, but could be for the foot control, if it's not hooked up.

    already got the foot pedal hookd up. this wire comes out of the head of the trollin motor. and i posted this in the electronic section too. tryn to get all the feed back i can. thanks guys

    Does it have a transducer on the bottom of the prop head? If so that wire goes to a connector that goes to your FF specific to your type of FF.

    it has a mount to put my transducer in yes. now all i got up front for a depthfinder is a lil cheap hummingbird. will it fit? or will i hav to zip tie/hose clamp it on there old school style? i plan on getn a hds8 next spring. but that will go n the back. but i do hav a humming bird w gps i will put up there. but its probly the cheapest 1 they make. but its stilll gps. thanks a bunch guys.
