Bottomline eletronics?

Does anyone out there know anything about or have used any of the Bottomline products? Iwould like to hear from You.

I have a Bottonline Fishing Buddy II. I use a Hummingbird as my regular unit but I like the Fishing Buddy unit and use the sidefinder mode a lot.

I guess it would depend on whether you want or need side scan or not. I don't need side scan to tell me there are fish in the shallows but I do need the sonar unit to tell me what the bottom/structure looks like, the depth, and the surface water temperature. If the unit marks schools of fish and their depth, that's a bonus .

I use the 1101 and really like it.

I don't have much to say except, I will never, in no way, as much as even look at a Bottom Line product as long as I'm handling the money. And that my friend,,,,,,,,,,,,is,,,, the bottom line!!!!!!!!

My fishing bud and I went thru several of their side finders. I liked them when they worked but it seemed like every 2 years I had to send it in for repairs.

I have Bottom Line 480 Max and have had to send it back twice to be fixed and it still does not work right. My Garmen and my old Lowrance are much better units.
