Smithville 11/26 a bust!

Got out this morning in the rain. Hit a few old haunts only catching a couple here & there. The wind really started to pick up so stopped by a few coves out of the wind and once again a couple here, a couple there, nothing to speak of. Decided to fish the cove just south of the W bridge. Motoring up the lake the waves were huge so continues under the bridge thinking a "Bloody Mary" sounded much better than fighting the wind & cold. Today was proof that ya can't get em everytime. I probably could've got a limit sooner or later but really just didn't have it in me! All fish were released to fight another day!!!!!

Naw, you went and caught a few in conditions that kept most of us sissies on the couch, I'd call that way better than a bust. Thanks for the report.

you did good, getting out in the much and mire of the hostle north country, I am sitting here watching an ice fishing show, all warm and cozy not you toughing it out,,,, big ole ... CRAPPIE UP

Persistence or stupidity are so close it's not even funny. I'll fish in rain or shine, 105 or 15 degrees, calm or gail force winds, without the wife or with the wi...... never mind that one!!!
