Congrats!!!! He'll be wantin to know if you'll take him fishin in NO time. Only thing I can say is spend as much time with him as you can while he's little because they grow up WAY TOO FAST, then they tend to want to do things with someone other that Dad!!!

congrats, guess I better go fishing more often for the next few years before he old enough.

That is good lookin' little kid, there! Papa....... ya done good.
I remember when my son was that little. We had to wrap him up in a Bili Blanket because he was jaundiced when we brought him home. I have a picture of him in that thing. He looked like a little Glow Worm!
Hard to believe he's 12 already!

11-24-2011, 10:45 PM
It's been AWHILE since mine were that little. Congrats.:)

I have another plus to this.

wife "and why do you need another $170 st croix?"
me "babe, Eli wants me to buy it so they will be his to use in a few years!"

wife "and why do you want a $30,000 Lund Predator?"
me "Eli needs a safe boat for when he starts fishin!"

I think you see where I'm going with this, heh heh. He's definately a good'n. He only woke us up one time last night. I already ran an idea to my wife who's mother is dang good with a needle to make him a crappie costume for next halloween!
