    Default Today Biguns Pics


    I went fishing this morning and actually got on the water before sunup for a change. I went with a guy from work and his son who love to fish, but don't have a boat. They love to catfish out of farm ponds, but have heard me speak of Crappie, so they wanted to try it. The bite was like yesterday, great from about six til nine, then they shut down. We ended up with 11 keepers in four hours. We caught probably 40 fish including one bluegill and no cats, thank god. The little boy had the biggest fish, a blacknose that weighed 2.03 and another with a close second at 1.96. I don't know much about crappie fishing, but what I do know, I am happy to share and always willing to take others to enjoy the sport of fishing.

    Nice Fishes there Big J. I haven't caught my first crappie in Iowa yet this year!! I had to drive all the way down to Tennessee April 1st to catch one.
