I had one of those years ago, I never new how accurate they were?
my father in law gave me an old zebco deliar 228 fish scale and it says (MADE IN USA) this weekend and he said that he has had it forever and that if I didn't want it, it was going in the trash so I grabbed it.
I'll try and put a pic or two up after a while

josh, they made at least two sizes of the scales. a 228 and a smaller 208. i have both and recently found a 208 with langley on the face. the above link gives a short history of the zebco co which is interesting. i have several old casting reels from the 30's and 40's and have a couple of langley casting reels. while down in florida a few years ago at a flea market i found a zebco casting reel and when i picked it up i saw it was exactly like the langley reels i had. i did a search and found zebco bought out langley and made casting reels for 2 years. i have several different kinds of old fish scales. hang yours up on the wall and keep them.
cool thanks for the link
