Default Orlando guy new to Crappie.com

I'm a Orlando Native who does as much freshwater and saltwater fishing I can do. I'm a big crappie guy! Caught the big one in my profile pic this past weekend. I teach and coach at one of the high schools on the west side of central florida. When I can get away from work, fishing is what I do. I have a 12ft jon but I'm interested in getting something smaller that I can just toss in those "honey holes." If you guys have any tips/suggestions on where, when, or what to fish for don't hesitate to shoot them my way. I can catch them but there is still so much to learn. I see a lot of knowledge on these message boards. Over and out!

    WELCOME aboard Bisonman.
You have only posted that you are located in florida and not what city/county you are located in, but we are having a "SLABFEST" December 3, 2011 at Gilbert Park, Mt. Dora, which is located on the east end of Lake Dora in Lake County. See the thread titled "December Slabfest"
Come join us and you will be able to meet some of the posters and great fisherpersons that post on here.Thumbs Up
    Again WELCOME ABOARD.

Welcome, and try and make the slabfest and introduce yourself. WE have a good time and alot of info is shared that will never make these boards. And we eat well too.
