Wondering what some of your favorite fall colors & brands are & if most of you use colored jig heads. Bigger or smaller baits?

Brown and orange Rocky Top baits, or KSU and Chartuesse(no glitter). I'm a big bait fisher, and go even a little bigger in fall, sometimes a 4in bass bait just kills them hungry HAWGS! But usually stick to a 2 1/2-3in bait.

I longline troll and usually with 1/16th jigs. I have pink, orange, and red heads (along with plain unpainted heads) and always have some blue/black/chart curly tails out there. Other than that I mix and match colors until the fish tells me what they want for the day.

It's a tube jig designed by Elden Bailey. He was one of the better fisherman in the Lawrence area. Killed in a car wreck several years ago. Did not know you could still buy them.

I'd heard the word bailey magnet many times but never knew what they were. Whats your favorite fall baits and color springhill? Mine are Bobby Garland 3 inch slabslayers, bass pro magnum squirts, and southern pro 2 in. tubes when I have to go smaller. Blue-white, rootbeer-chartruce, green-chartruse, black-chartruse, blue-chartruse, bonewhite-chartruse, junebug-chartruse, all the same colors I use all yr round. Gonna have to order some of those chapman creek 2.5 in. too...more companies need to start coming out with bigger crappie tubes imo.
