Moon Fishing

I have always heard from the " ol' timers" that the moon greatly affects the fishing. Can anyone give any input as to what kind of moon is the best and for what kind of fish. Just Curious!

The three days prior and three days after the full and new moon are the best times to catch any fish. When you time this around any species spawn it's even better.

I have heard many people say that the full moon is bad for fishing. I have never found it to be a problem. I guess it depends on where you are at. Just like any time, just because "your" hotspot isn't producing fish doesn't mean it's because of the moon. With that kind of light at night, it's easy to do some serious recon and find a spot that is Hot.
