    Default Lake George-Hobart

I got out on Lake George today for some crappie. I caught 4 that were 10.5-11 inches. Caught another 10-12 that were small.

    Default Boat Ramp

If you cross the lake on Wisconsin Street going north, turn right at the first light(I think it's 3rd or 5th) and go toward downtown. Just before you get to downtown, turn right again (there is a wood sign in the medium that says some park's name) and go over the tracks. The ramp is just over the ramp. It's kind of close to where the old boy/girl scout cabin is. Sorry I can't be more clear. I'm sure you'll find it but you may have to ask around. Good luck!

    Default High Water

The lake level has jumped at least a foot in the last week. I was there today and the bite was slow because of it. Water is also going over the dam and as a result there was a current that was pretty strong. I've never seen it that high before. All this rain is having an impact. Sure messed up my honey holes!!!

Mike, Try the pads behind the school. Fish were there this afternoon. 13ft pole, minnows on #4 green hook, 2ft under slip bobber. Outer edges of pads. No size but pretty good #s. Bill
