A mold maker is having a contest, its the bass guys against the crappie guys, who ever comes up with the best bait pic in Nov. get to design the next mold. Of course I want it to be a crappie mold cause I am going to scream if I see one more craw mold made.Rofl So here is one of my entries to it. What do you think? These are not for sale, They were tough to make. But I will give them to one of our Vets on the site. I really want to win this thing cause I got more than a few ideas for the new mold to be made.

Great looking baits (almost a camo color) and pictures.

Sometimes I think I'd fish better with the .45s though.

I like em, I think they would actually work pretty good as well.

Nice baits, and good colors. What do you think about a background pic with one of those baits in a fishes mouth? The shells work, good for size reference. Maybe a few Magnums in the mix. I'm sure those baits can bag some Magnum size fish. Just some input. Good luck, lookin forward to the new mold.

Would for sure work in any lake that has Hydrilla. I know this like I live on green and shades of green are very good!

Looks like a nice job!

Baitman-

Is there anything we can do as a group to increase your odds? If the mold-maker knows you've got a lot of crappie fanatics who want to see a new bait -- would that make a difference?

Thank you, I was glad to beat out the bass guys just because us crappie guys dont get a lot of attention from mold makers. I sent in my design and he is working it up on the cad. Then he will cut a mold and test it for function. I will let ya know when I get it in hand and start working with it. Hopefully it will be a real game changer for us that troll.

Keith ... the U. S. Military should include those in the "Survival Kit", along with some jigheads, as part of the "fishing kit" portion ... seeing as how they're already in CAMOUFLAGE Hands Clapping They'd save a lot of time, trying to find live bait to put on the hooks that come in the kit Thumbs Up

congrats on the win, man ... never doubted you for a second !!
