Launching at Coffman

Hey guys,

Anyone had any trouble lanching out of Coffman Beach, I heard a rumor that some were getting the trailers hungup on the bottom of the ramp.

Looking also for some of that free guide service, what seams to be hot right now and where?

Any pointers are greatly appreciated

wouldnt worry too much about the ramp the water is clean enough to see the right side to put in on, just take a look before you lanch. Fish there this passed weekend a did real good in soap creek, with this weather Im guessing they will be in shallow water behind the docks, might go Friday but with Truman being so stinkin HOT the past two days itll be hard to not go back, good luck.

So what areas and colors seem to be better than others, looking for any help you can give I am at the 6mm.

chartrsue and white tipped with a minnow was good yesterday about 8 feet down.

Soap creek is up the gravios 4 or 5 miles out of coffman, should be on most maps. Still on same pattern 2 to 10 feet of water with light colored jigs (white/Chart, pink/chart, pink/white) Way too much boat traffic yesterday for them to be on the banks in most places
