anyone own or fish from one of these boats. from my research, they have great reviews. need pros or cons please, i'm getting close to a deal. their lakes freeze quick up there and these boats go fast. 115 merc. thanks for the help.

I own a 681C and LOVE it. I couldnt find a VS or I'da bought it first. A 681 works good with 2 people...would be tight with 3 though.

    Default 681

I have a 617DVS, the D stands for dual consel the VS is a set back transome. The C would stand for consel steering rather than tiller. I have a friend who has had a 618VS with a merc 115 four stroke, he's owned it for 10 or 11 years and he loves it.

My dad and i used to own one.We traded it on a 520DVX and regret the day we did it. They are a serious fishing boat you wont regret it if ya get one.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

They must be great boats because it's extremely hard to find a clean one.
