Im going to BPS tomorrow to buy these, Ive heard enough of the ranting and raving...lol what colors are proving to be the best and what size jig head goes good with them? Will a 1/32 have enough hook prestrusion...

Yup, thats the best I think, I wish I could find a 1/16 with a #6 hook. What colors do you like? Clear water, I love Opening Night or Hologram Ghost. Dirty water, I like Blue Grass, Black Gum and Elec. Chicken. You might need to pick up some fish fry too.

Lately I have done well on natural colors and variations, but I always keep shock colors also. Crystal, threadfin shad, blue thunder, and patriot have put lots in the boat for me in the past month or so.

You should check with Grousefly on this site. He can make most any kind of jig heads and I know he has 1/16 #6 in both no collar and with collar and probably both ball or minnow heads.

Skip is right on, I have bought several times from Grousefly always good jigs @ good price - nice to deal with..............

I make my own BS and mostly use a 1-32 head. As for color a near white has been all I needed for over a year. I make many colors but on water I go back to white.

If you can find it, the new shimmer shad color is dynOmite! A chartreuse pepper with that same shimmer effect that the monkey milk has. My only complaint last time out was that the sand bass wouldn't stay off of it...

Well, I flew through my $200 gift card at BPS today, took my 3 hours with all them, ohhh i need this, wait i need this more, ohh no this one is it! I must say that BPS kills academy with the BGBS selection, i got 1 of everything but doubled on the char. blue ghost, and off white. Also got 4 B&M rods and 3 new reels, along with a ton more must haves, the mo-glo baby shads look promising!!!
