    Default ? About vertical jigging

Whats the best way to present the jig... Up and down slowly, flick of the wrist, etc.

Not to sound like a smarty, but however the fish want it that day.
Sometimes it's dead still, sometimes it's a slight flick of my finger against the braid to just make the jig quiver, sometimes it's a slow lift and fast drop, sometimes vice-versa, sometimes it's a slow horizontal swim...I could go on and on here but you're probably getting my point. You really never know what's gonna work on any given day and that's some of the fun in it is figuring em out!

What he said. However go to a spot that you know has fish, either a brush pile or find structure on your fishfinder that is holding fish. Try one technique and if its not working try the next and so on. Once they hit on one you will know what to do from there. Good luck to ya bud.

Every way you can think of. Here's one I do and I never hear any one talk about, dead still then move your rod tip horizontal, 4-6" dead still again then a little more. Everyone assioates the bite with something they did vertical but never horizontal. Ever heard of horizontal jigging????

    All of the above.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

What they all said from me, too, with this additional advice, jig where you "know" there are fish. You have to find them to present to or nothing will work. The more confident you are of that the better your actual jigging will go.

Not being a smart donkey, but how do you "know" the fish are there? You can spend $5000 on "fish finders" as some like to call them but...... The Proof Is In The Fishing.
