    Default 17 in. SLABO/Pics

I was back at it today.I picked up my PB slab. It weighed in at 3lb. Only 4 oz from a state record. Its getting colder up here and were haveing a slower time getting them. My fishing buddy says its like ice fishing with a slow finiky bite. That statement keyed my mind. I had my ice fishing jigs with me. I got the box out and tied on a 1 1/64 oz. jig with a small plastic bait. On the first drop a big red blob shows up on my Vex. It turns out to be the BIG ONE. At 17in and 3lb it was nice. it is now at a friend who does Taxi.

    That's Awesome.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

Nice catch, I caught at 17 3/4 that weighed in at 3 1/2 lbs and never thought about getting it mounted, Brain Dead I Guess!
I sure wish I had. It's the one in my left hand in my sig. Your's is at great catch, 4oz off the the state record!!! Our state record is 4lb 6oz so mine was not even close.
