I have always found that it gets steadily better for 4 or 5 days before the full moon. I have caught them as fast as I could bait up on the day of the full moon and couldn't get a bite the day after.

DITTO Slabinator! I have always went by a week before to a week after the full moon. I myself have caught them like crazy then the next day they have dissapeared.

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!

I don't remember exactly which months ,but I was told by a wildlife biologist that has specialized in the spawnn for diffferent species of freshwater fish, that bream will spawn on every full moon for like 3 or 4 months straight during the summer.

They spawn around first full moon when temp is right(mid to high 70's). Then after that, they can spawn around the new moon too. But first spawn its always the full moon.

bluegill will spawn in the months with no r's in them. so may, june, july, and august are your months to fish. however i seem to catch more in may and june. do ya'll use jigs or live bait. if live bait what is ya'lls favorite?

With the warm weather in the South here lately, is it possible that they could start at this full moon stage (April)?
