Stay after them Tom and sounds like you did, just a good thing that old turn over don't last too long..........
Made for a tough bite but we did manage some and what we caught were pigs. Biggest was 13 3/4 and several over 12. The water is a nasty brown, we hit a bunch of brush piles which produced very few fish and by accident we found some on a point. You had to be bouncing off the bottom to get bit and when they did you would of thought you had a 4 pound bass on by the way they fought. Best bite was in 25 to 27 foot on the bottom, best color was orange/chart. Not our best day but fun just the same, great weather for an October day.

Glad u still found some good ones
Congrats on finding them on the point, surprised that you pick up a couple of eyes while you were that deep on the point. Hopefully this next cold front will clear up the lake.
Sounds like a great day Tom!!! Those are some good fish anywhere!!!
