    Default Live shad

So today I was reading about how important live shad was for striper. So now that must be the reason I don't catch much. But I don't know much about those big ol white round tanks I see being used. I dont have a big boat, only 14. What is the smallest set up I could use, and what equipment do I need? Is it off the shelf item?
What are the components? Please advise on how to make or

    Or buy one

You can use a cooler with a floating aeriator and that will keep them alive for a day or so, add some ice and non iodized salt to the water.

The forage fish here in SC for stripers is blue back herring, which we fish live like the herring.
Make sure to use a round one cooler or tank. If you use one with corners the dumb things crowd into the corners and suffocate even with an aerator. I have a 10 gallon one like this Marine Metals Bait Saver Livewell Tank 10 Gal#

Sorry, the link is longer than my boat. The unit above has a really strong aerator pump which is essential to keep herring alive.
    Good luck
