Bucksaw this past thurs thru Sunday
Had a pretty good trip this weekend. We didn't catch as many crappie as we wanted. However, did finally establish a pattern fishing way up a creek arm fishing trees in 13 to 15 fow with minnows 1-3 feet off the bottom. The bite was best from first light for an hour or so. We caught some real pigs Sunday morning.
We also did okay on jugs for blues... We trashed two shad nets, so baited with chicken gizzard soaked in beef blood. Blugill worked well but hard to come by. Fished channel bends, flats just off the channel, 10 ft down in 20 fow
