well at least you know they are there and willing to bite! still haven't gotten my first bass, crappie bluegill or pumpkinseed of the year. i am gonna need to do that soon.
Ran the columbia around the burbank sloughs, the water was rippin and lots of debri. I ran down to the penensula and found water to 55 degrees, and went 0-3 on some big bass that shook my hook. The first two were HEAVY! And the third jumped after spitting the hook, probably 2-3 pound fish. Cant wait to go tomorrow if the weather holds.

Thanks for the report. 55 degrees? Those are prime-time temps for pre-spawn bass.
To much weather to do much today. Ended up working the dikes in casy pond with jigs, and stick baits. Water was 56-57 just couldnt make it happen for the largies.
Try slow-rolling a single colorado blade spinner bait over some of the deeper submerged points in that area. I can remember nailing two 4+ lb largemouth in there on back to back casts doing that in Spring time a few years back.
