    Default Pomme /Truman report

Fish still on the bottom along the channel, why?they should be up chasing shad on top or in the shallows at this time of year.It feels like winter fishing already.drop it to the bottom ,hold still,BAM,almost knock the rod out of your hands. It's fun but looking to the shallow water bite, maybe soon.

Still sounds like a good day, you found them and they bit and hit hard, that is always a plus!

The area we are fishing is only 12-15 ft deep and water temp is 67 so they are not where I would normally look for them.most of the years I have chased them little buggers they move up in 1-3 ft of water at this time of year with the weather patterns staying the same,I know fronts move them out but it's been stable for a few weeks now.The shad is thick in there and the whites are tearing them up ,we had a blast a few days ago catching them.Vacation is almost over, work again Mon. so may have to hit it one more time b-4 I go back.
