We headed down yesterday. Weather was a little chilly, but we were fishn !
Water temp was around 47 to 49 depending where we where. Water level is still pretty low. Caught some decent fish, mostly males in 18 to 25 ft. of water mostly on humps, didn't seem like many "staging" yet. Nothing at all shallow, and we marked alot of fish deeper than 25 ft. , but no bites. The way the weather sounds for this week I would guess they will be staging soon. As a side note, when we drove past Red Rock on the way home, it didn't look to be up as I would have suspected with all the rain. Maybe we'll give that a shot this weekend.
Thanks for the report fishn. I think even with the warmer weather, those fish at Rathbun won't be doing much moving till early next month. Water temps might be getting to that 'special' range, but their biological clock will keep those fish held back.
Just my opinion.
