    Default Wildlife management

Is there anybody involved with the KDWPT (or any other org) that deals with wildlife management on private grounds? We just had 30 acres (split up in 2 chunks) of CRP come out on some river ground in west-central KS. We're wanting to manage it for deer, turkey, and upland birds. We're wanting to put in 3-4 different food plots (harvestable). The problem is that we don't know exactly where the best locations for crops are, and what crops to plant.

Even some quick redlining on an arial photo would help.

    Thanks

Why sure there is, 1/2 of the allocatable funds come from NRCS. I just happen to know a few of the supers. Give them a call, they'll get ALL of your INFO and set up an appt.

Pheasant Forever also has state bioligists that can come out and walk you through how to increase habitat on your property at no charge.
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D

    tdinges,

KDWPT has private lands wildlife biologists that specialize in private lands wildlife management. Let me know what county the property is in and I can get you the contact info for the appropriate bio.
