After many trips and catching nothing worth keeping i finally got a few. Got these at the spillway in Indian lake OH :D

I was casting a white/chartreuse blakemore road runner jig on a slip bobber. Smallest crappie was 9''. I was actually fishing the river side of the spillway (Great miami river)
Cool. I live in GA and am heading out this weekend - was just curious how people were catching in other areas of the country.
Congrats, keep at it and the more you go and more you catch the more you will really learn too. Lots to learn just about their bite so good for you with getting some crappie. One really looks much bigger than the rest so what is your biggest?

The big one in the pic was little over 13'' which is probally the biggest crappie i have ever caught at indian lake. Just got really into crappie fishing about a yr ago soo im still a newbie at it but feels like im learning something new everyday.
