Default Benefits from a colored fishfinder

I am seriously considering buying a Lowrance 102c. I keep thinking that color is not that much better than mono however the demo mode looks very good. Does anyone have color if so can you see or determine if crappie are present in brushpile and plastic? All comments and suggestions will be appreciated.

I have two vexilar color units and they are night and day different from my old mono units. The little extra they cost is well worth it i think.

Tim that is where we catch crappie, but as far as me telling you I know it was all crappie. That I can't do. but give me a while and I will post one when I can catch crappie out of the school.
Have one that I was hunting that shows a school of bait fish and you can see the fish around the bait.
