I've Waited All Year For Fall!!

In my part of Texas we had one of the most windy springs, driest and hottest summers ever recorded. Man, I've been craving decent weather and now we're having some. Went to a local lake and the fish are stacked in the mouth of a major creek. I started jiggin' at 8:15am and (according to my non-official count) by 9:30am would have had my limit of legal fish (10" minimum, 25 fish) if I had kept all legal fish caught. I didn't keep any under 11" and was limited out at 11:15am. The baitfish are stacked on the timber and thus....so are the crappie. Fishing standing timber in 10'-18', fish suspended at around 9'. I own just about every color and combination of jig you can think of, but the jig the fish told me they wanted was white/white/white. Low temp this morning in the high 40's, high only got to 83. Wtr temp 74. I love the fall!

I love the Fall as well. 83 is hot in my neck of the woods. Fall to me is 50 -60 as a high. Sweet Motor you got there. Nice catch.
