    Default crappie at the pond

well sort of, caught a couple small ones, and a lot of pearch, water clear, and rising, wind light, depth 9ft. over 11ft of water, jig, black/yellow 1/32oz on two pound test line, lots of fun..... and my back held up pretty good,, only stayed an hour and was sitting the whole time. but I was out and it felt great..... now rest and smoke some brisket/ribs/chicken sunday and watch duck races or turtle fighting,,,, cause I have verry little hope for the chiefs.

Sounds great. I unfortunately have been gifted tickets to the game on Sunday so I have to go.

I know the short trip with a few fish is ALOT more fun than those backaches. Glad you was able to get out and enjoy it and still feel good afterwards. Congrats.

Sounds like a good day for sure..........glad the back is improving, I've been laid up with a sore back a few times myself and there aren't many things more miserable. Smoker sure looks good too!
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
