Default A few stake beds I made

Just a few I poured up this afternoon.
BTW the red concrete is because I added some mortar mix in to cut down on the quickcrete useage.
The mortar mix was just sitting around the house.

What do you guys think? Will they work in shallow water?

    Sorry about the huge pics.

I made up some of the boo and blocks friday. They are building a new restaurant here in town and I asked for any damaged or half blocks they had left over. Contractor loaded me up when he found out I was building crappie beds. First time i have used blocks, Not as heavy as buckets but I think they will work just fine. Plan on setting several in an area to cast to.
    Good looking job pstone.

they look great to me. I think I will build some like those. I have several 70 to 80 lbs block at my house used to build retaining walls. they only have one hole, but that should be enough.

Do you guys dump these in shallow water mainly, or deep. I would think deep(10-20) would be better, right?

I dump these in 3-5 ft of water and fish them during the spawn.
