Looks like a great trip. Congrats on the catch and thanks for posting the report and pics.
September 13-15 WHITE RIVER AR.
It way a nice drive up there, it took about 5 ˝ hours.
We staid at the Fulton’s Lodge will most likely go back there again.
We fish the catch and release area for about 3 hours and put a lot of nice rainbow in the boat, the biggest one was about 15 long.
The rest of the day we move up and down the river, we found the browns about 4 miles down river on the port side.
They were holding tight to the grass line just past shallow rocks up stream.
Equipment;
Rod - 10ft - 6wt
Leader - Approx 14 foot.
Rig – float cork then 5 feet down (1) small split shot, 5 more feet down (2) small split shot, 2 feet down brown worm, then down 2 feet more another salmon color San Juan worm.
Some time we only fish with the brown worm.
80% of our fish came on two worm rig.
Bunny got it going on
Nice rainbow bunny
Another nice rainbow by bunny, this make bunny second time to go fly fishing.
Nice rainbow by dennis.
Nice brown by dennis
One more nice brown going back in.
“GOT TO GO BACK” hope we can make a fishing TV show out of our next trip up there.
Looks like a great trip. Congrats on the catch and thanks for posting the report and pics.
