Zebco Slab Seeker Spinning Reel Release?

How do I release the depth control pin? Doh

I just dug out my two 12' rods and haven't used them in years. Anyone remember how to release these reels?

From what I remember about these reels, once the pin was pushed in, they were very hard to release. I recall someone posting about them on here a year or so ago and he and his buddy bought one and both broke after one day on the water. Try taking a pocket knife and using the tip to release the pin.

Thanks, I know there is an easy way to do it, I just forget what it is.
I'll call customer support next week unless someone here in the meantime remembers how to do it.

push in and up, thats how mine work

you grab the pin and pull it to you and that releases it.
