Big question, i've used swing chain to sink tree limbs and pvc. My neighbor says ski rope will last longer under water. What do you think

We use bailing twine, around here we can find it pretty easy. When I make anchors, my wife and daughters will braid some up for me. I tie a knot in one end and pour or push it into the concrete. Drill a hole in the trunk of tree and shoot it through, tie off and presto. Works great, just haul around an anchor or two, cordless drill and a handsaw. Perfect for those days when nobodies around.
