Anyone here have a problem with the front livewell leaking back on the carpet? MY boat and my buddies 861 both leak.

I would call the dealer and ask how many folks have the problem and if they have resolved the issue! Just my two cents that aint worth one!

Top of livewell should have almost a 2 inch lip all the way around or at the very least along the back. This will not allow the sloshing to come out as much or maybe any at all. I've never seen how they are built but my Tracker Panfish PF-16 has a 1 1/2 to 2 in. lip all the way around and I never loose any water, Even in rough water. I will loose some going up a steep boat ramp though so now I drain it down to about 1/2 before loading up.
The "Cool Bubbles" 11 1/2 qt. Minnow Bucket lids are consructed the same way to eliminate sloshing. Works pretty well with the exception of really rough water while motoring across the lake. But, I fill my buckets about 80% full of water. !/2 full of water probably wouldn't do it at all.
I hope this helps or at least gives you some ideas to try.
Good Luck and post the remedy if you find one.
